Hello busy week. I am here.

Happy hour cheered me up. There's nothing like a cold Colt 45 on an early Friday night impromptu drinking session with officemates. I thank the gods for giving us this little luxury. It was really an effective stress reliever.

I'm bound for Batangas tomorrow early morning. My lola's sister-in-law, who lives with her and whom we also consider as our lola also, passed away this week because of complications from her kidney disease. She will be remembered as our lola who loves to eat.

Now, after the Great Jhing Extravaganza, they're imposing a new rule in getting a loan from MESALA. In short, it's goodbye to my dream of getting myself an Intense Tracer. Oh well. It was fun fantasizing about the things you'd buy while it lasted. For a while there I really thought it was heavensent. But I have to admit that was good. I had fun back there cranking up the old gray matter dreaming of things I could not possibly get in this lifetime. I think it's a part of the new office stress reliever program -- giving false hopes. Quite effective. Welcome to the wonderful world of Capitalism.

Somehow the Tour de France doesn't seem to be that exciting now that Armstrong won the two mountain stages in a row and is now the overall leader. If Joseba Beloki of ONCE failed to hang-on with the U.S. Postal train, then it would've been a walk in the park for the Maillot Jaune and Roberto Heras, his teammate. I sure hope something will happen in the mountain stages or this will turn out to be a race for the second spot on the podium.

My apologies for not posting anything these past few days. As you can see I've been busy monitoring the Tour. Thank God for live internet webcast!

Bad news for Rex Navarette fans. His one-night-only gig at Sanctum is already sold-out. If there is anyone out there who knows where we can get tickets, please let me know. No scalpers please.

My friend Morny told me that it still is a holiday today. That was the memo passed in Ateneo, where he works. Being the vacation freak that I am, I immediately texted an officemate to confirm. Apparently, the memo is only for students. The rest of the civilization still has to go to work. Well, I can't say I didn't try.

The rain left its mark on the roads as major potholes. On the way back to Manila from Batangas City, I've bullseyed at least three big ones. Boom! There goes the wheel alignment! The guys from Goodyear and Zafra motors are probably making tons of money with all these potholes. I bet if they ran for office, they wouldn't be the first ones to give the go signal for road construction and maintenance.

Talking about roads, do you know that they now charge P40.50 toll from Nichols to Canlubang? Wow! That was a real jump from the P7.50 in the 80's. Hey! That's fine with me. But with a fee as high as that, they should at least raise the standards of the not-so-expressway.

First, where are the goddam lights?! It's only in the Philippines where there are no lights in a tollway. If someone's car battery goes dead, that person is a goner. As Jaws Mamangon would say, these people are very prone to highway hold-up.

Second, implement the highway rules, especially the speed limit and the fast and slow lanes. I don't see anyone being flagged down for being too fast or too slow, nor did I see a patrolcar pulling over a car with busted taillights.

C'mon! Admit it -- don't you feel cheated when you see road signs that read something like this: "Please report traffic violators. Call..." 'Tangina nila! Why the hell should I do that for them if they're not doing anything in the first place?

And with all these corruption in the government, I only see a faint ray of hope coming from Doc's flying DeLorean in Back to the Future.

I woke up this morning from a bad dream. I dreamnt one of my officemates died. We visited his wake and I saw him inside his coffin, seemingly asleep. I texted him as soon as I got up from bed and told him to be extra careful in the following days.

There's always time for everyone when they don't feel like going to work. It was already nine o' clock in the morning and I was still in bed. We should be in the office by ten but I was just too lazy to jump in the shower and get myself going. I was really tempted to call in sick. I even tried to recall what I have to do today and there was nothing really that urgent. But the angel won this time.

I'm getting excited with our week-long trip to Iloilo and Bacolod next week. Earlier this afternoon, I was already mentally planning on the things I'd bring in the trip and it seems I'll be bringing in the big maleta again. I'll be saving up my sweldo so I could get a taste of what these provinces offer! (wink! wink!)

The MESALA fever got me and I think I'll be getting myself a new bike. There's a used Intense Tracer in good condition with a Psylo SL Fork, Chris King headset, Thompson stem and seatpost, carbon fiber handlebar, Shimano XTR front and rear derailleurs, and a Race Face Next LP crankset.

It's 1:15 in the morning and the question in my mind is will there be office later?

It has begun. The Tour, that is. Lance Armstrong began his bid for his fourth consecutive Tour de France with a win in today's prologue time trial, beating Frenchman, Laurent Jalabert, by two seconds.Without his main rivals, Jan Ulrich and Marco Pantani, a lot of people say that this is going to be a great race -- for second place.

I wished I biked today. Seeing Lance in action kinda inspired me to do that Antipolo climb again. But with the heavy rains and strong winds brought about by typhoon Gloria, I had no choice but to stay in the house, watch the Tour and clean my hardtail.

ESPN's published schedule of the Tour was wrong. Good thing I was watching at twelve or I would've missed it completely. Same as years before, they didn't cover it in full. Everything was all packed in a 30-minute highlight show. How could they cover a four-hour event and put it in one half-hour show? And their published schedule on the website was wrong. Fucking idiots.

To Marjie,

I am not surprise or wander why Dennis leave you. Why? What reason
you can think about but you're very fat body. I thought before that
Dennis only use me to his toy but sooner and later I'm realize that
he really can't not beared or stomached to be with you anymore
because at first, Dennis say he could not stand you're habit of
making pakialam all his walks [lakad] and always calling to their
house what he go home or this or that.

And then he say he get ashame to met iether in school or in his
family and then asking you to exercise you're very very, very fat
body. But you hate it. Thoughth your the most preetiest girls he
knows about. What do you think you are "Beautiful Girl" of Jose Marie
Chan?

Even you are beautiful face (to your think) you do not have the right
to called me whatsoever or else different name one time or the other
for the real purposed to insults my personality because I'm never
call you names iether in the front of Dennis or in the backs of
Dennis, but if you start already to calling me different name, I
don't have any other choice but to call you other different name to.
Like you are a PIG, FAT, OBESSED, OVERWIGHT, AND UGLY SHAPE girl.
Shame to you're body that is to a BUDING.

You can't not blame Dennis for exchanging you to me because I am the
more sexier than you when you look to us in the mirror.

I'm repeat again that you are like Ike Lozada when she is a girl.

Love,
The Sexiest Girl of D.M.

P.S. You say that I'm the bad breathe but who is Dennis want to
kissed. Me or you? You or me? And the final is me. There you go
