Technical Difficulties
You are not the technical person of choice because your work sucks. It's that simple. I never asked you to program my service. So when you were assigned to the task by your superior, my fingers were crossed hoping that maybe this time you'd put some effort into it. Maybe after all these time, you changed.

Of course I was wrong. When you said that everything's ready for testing, I did just that. And I discovered that you didn't understand it at all. That is because of one simple thing - you didn't freaking read my SD!

Granted that I don't know how to code (yet) and that I'm probably at your mercy now, but I definitely busted my ass making that service. An SD is more than just reply messages, dear. It's my architecture of how things will flow and give my users the right experience they deserve. The least you could have done to extend your courtesy is to read it. And if you have questions, you know I'm more than willing to answer it.

And you expect me to give you a "5" in your MBO ratings?

Big Brother Day
We were supposed to go to Batangas today to pay our respects to my tita who passed away last Thursday, but our trip was cancelled because of the bad weather. When we woke up the sun was barely shining and we can hear the sound of heavy rain.

My in-laws went ahead to Biñan and left me and Charo in the house. Because it was such a lazy day, we didn't even bother leaving our room. We just logged in to ABS-CBN Now and watched the Pinoy Big Brother streaming video, switching from one live feed to another.

The experience was quite unique watching the housemates go on with their daily lives. It was like viewing an aquarium with the fishes talking.

Because it unedited, it wasn't excitement-packed all the way. There were a lot of dull moments. But on the other hand, because it's unedited, you get to glimpse a lot of small interesting stuff happening that doesn't get to be shown on mainstream television.

If you're slowly turning into a Pinoy Big Brother addict, I'd suggest you get your own live 24x7 coverage either from SkyCable or from ABS-CBN Now!

A wise man from the mountains of Quebec once said that chickens are not supposed to be made as lollipops. Chicken belongs to the meat food group while lollipops are part of the sweets food group. Combining the two is not what the heavens intended them to be, for if one makes them as such, the persons who eat it will suffer a curse so great.

Now we understand.

Top Signs Something's Fishy in the People Power Monument Hunger Strike/Fasting
10. There's always a food delivery motorcycle mysteriously parked near the monument.
9. Mass is held three times a day with communion hosts as big as a plate and jumbo-sized chalices.
8. Although the average number of mass attendees is about thirty people, they always prepare one hundred hosts for communion each time.
7. You surprisingly see that the day countdown is one when you could've sworn it was 34 yesterday.
6. Sin absolution in exchange for balut or penoy.
5. A petition for rice and adobo to substitute for communion hosts has been passed to the CBCP for their consideration.
4. You begin to see them on Pinoy Big Brother. Apparently the tents have become an annex of the Pinoy Big Brother house.
3. Four words - WILL RUN FOR FOOD.
2. You see a shifting schedule on people doing the hunger strike/fasting. When asked about it, they say it's to make it more "efficient".
1. When you dial 8-MCDO, they always mistake you for the running priest.

I don't know if you've noticed but the "Ber" months are here again. Yes, and for the first time I failed to play Dean Martin's "Let it Snow" because I wasn't in the office.

Talking about the upcoming season, I sure wish you guys are starting the feel some Christmas spirit in the air because I sure don't. Maybe it's because of all the stuff that's been happening around that makes it hard to see the reason for the season.

Anyway, today is my first day in the office after being confined in the hospital for 11 days because of pancreatitis. The feeling is a bit weird. My concentration isn't really 100% but I'm getting the hang of it.

It's a weekend. Hope it's a good one.
