We'll be having our first for-city-residents-only mountain bike race. That's the good news. The bad news is it's 55 kilometers long. It took the fit people more than two hours to finish the course, so I guess it would take me half a day. We tried the course last Sunday and it was too long. A friend of mine got his ribs broken in one of the off-road sections. At least that's one less participant to compete with. hehehehe!

Extra pearls please
Naglalabasang parang mga kabute ngayon ang mga Text Channels. Bukod sa mga naunang channel sa cable na LinkTV at PinoyCentral, alam mo bang maaari ka nang kumanta at magchat sa The Lounge? O kaya nama'y sumama sa news discussion sa ANC? O manood ng tagalog movie at makipagharutan sa Cinema One? O maging music fanatic at flirter in one sa MYX? At siyempre, hindi ko kakalimutan ang the ultimate - na maging isang mabuting miyembro ng lipunang Iglesia ni Cristo at makichat sa Net 25? Hindi rin pumayag magpaiwan ang mga malalaking network sa karera with GMA 7's TXTUBE at ang bagung-bagong Kool on Kam ng ABC 5!
I find it really strange but I sense that the pearl shake fad has finally been overtaken by another. So now it's Lechon Manok, Shawarma, Pearl Shake and Text Channels?

Midweek. Just a few more pushes and it's all downhill from here.
Bakit kaya ang hirap-hirap mag-ayos? 9:28 ng umaga na pero nandito pa rin ako sa bahay at nakatunganga sa harap ng computer nagbablog. Kung tutuusin kanina pa naman akong gising. Siguro dahil color-coding ang kotse ko kaya't tinatamad akong kumuha ng taxi.
Kinasal na daw ang kaibigan kong si Norman sa Canada. Pinay din yata ang napangasawa. Namanhikan na rin ang isa kong ka-opisina at iyong isa nama'y pinag-iisipan kung maaaring gawing isang higanteng siopao ang kanyang wedding cake. Sa ganitong banda'y dapat na ba akong maging desperado? Sabi nga ni Father Cruz noong buhay pa siya, "It's time to put on those afterburners!"

I interviewed this cute girl applying to be one of my TXTjocks for the channel and I have to admit that looks have a big impact. If not for the the guideline sheet provided by HR, I could've been easily be misguided and weigh in her looks at 50% in total weight of the whole thing! I should put this in mind if ever I plan to have job interviews. And I think I should go back to my diet and my blue pill.
I'm riding the Tour of the Fireflies this coming Sunday. If I get really lucky I might be able to persuade the Batangueños to bring in a big contingent for the ride. The Tour is our way of asking for a cleaner Metro. The 50-kilometer ride starts in UP Diliman and ends in Marikina Riverbanks. So if you have nothing to do this weekend, join us for a little cycling around the Metropolis.

Dear Kuya Blogger,
Magandang gabi sa iyo! Matagal na kitang hindi nakakausap kaya't miss na miss kita. Kumusta ka na ba? Bakita ko'y may asawa't anak ka na't naninirahan na sa isang bungalow. Anu't ano pa ma'y umaasa akong nasa mabuti kang kalagayan ngayon.
Marami akong gustong ikwento sa iyo.
Nitong huling Linggo'y nagbisikleta ako sa Batangas at sa unang pagkakataon pagkatapos nang matagal na panahon ay nahilo ako sa biyahe bagama't hindi pa ito nakakalayo. Doon ko nalamang walang wala na ako sa kundisyon at kailangan ko na ulit mag-ensayo kung ibig ko pang makarating ng malayo. Isa pa'y nawala na yata ang mga kayo ng pwet ko dahil nanakit ito dahil sa pag-upo sa silyeta ng bisikleta. Naisip kong ganito yata kasakit ang magkaroon ng boyfriend na bading! Naawa tuloy ako sa mga kolboy na naka-tambay sa Circle.
Mabuti na lamang at nakabawi ako nitong Lunes. Bumiyahe kami mula San Miguel hanggang Sto. Niño. Nainis lang ako dahil maayos na ang kalye dito. Hindi na masyadong sira ang mga daan. Bakit pa nga ba kailangang ipagawa ng mga pulitiko ang mga daang bukid? Nauubos tuloy ang mga magagandang lugar na maaari naming bisitahin.
Oo nga pala, nabili ko sa murang halaga ang Oakley ni Wenny na galing kay Marlon na galing kay Rigo na ako ang bumili.
Ngayong darating na akinse'y papaalis na ang isang kaibigan. Hindi ko naman kayang pigilin. Natatakot na nga ako sa kahihinatnan ng aming grupo dito. Saan na kami pupulutin ngayon?
Palagay ko po'y hanggang dito na lamang. Sa ngayo'y hinihintay ko pa ang padalang chicks ng Diyos sa akin.
