Their first day was a 245-kilometer trip from Manila to Calauag. They left Malabon at 6:00 in the morning and passed through Antipolo, Bugarin, Pagsanjan, Luisiana, Atimonan, Gumaca and Pagbilao before arriving at Calauag at 5:30 in the afternoon.
The two cyclists left Calauag at 5:30 in the morning the following day and tortured themselves further on their way to Legaspi City. They passed the Quirino junction, Tagkawayan, Sipocot, Naga, Pili and Guinobatan before arriving at Legaspi City at 5:30 in the afternoon.
Talk about a real Amazing Race with the whole trip totalling a whopping 497 kilometers.
We're now planning on training for this type of trips starting with some not-so-epic rides. Yesterday over dinner, after King texted us that he wants to do a Manila to Calatagan trip then spend the night there, Mike and I are talking about doing a Manila to Calatagan, Batangas trip then do a Calatagan to San Juan, Batangas the following day. When that pushes through, we can probably do a Manila to Baguio or a Baguio to Sagada trip.
How I wish there's a sabbatical leave in the office to do all these things.

We go back to work tomorrow but I still don't feel like it. I hate Sundays because it's the last day before we go back to the salt mines. If there's a way to earn even when I'm at home, I'd probably do that.
Anyway, I'm looking for a good webhosting service. If you guys know anything, let me know.
I did two Maarat climbs today. I didn't go to the trails because I'm too lazy to replace the slicks with my knobbies. It only took me 15 minutes. Not bad. I think I can do two more if Mike T was up to the task.
I joined the Batangas Mountain Bikers' Visita Iglesia with Mike O and Jojo P. It was fun. For pictures, click here.

It's 7:14 in the morning. I would normally be in the bathroom now taking a shower. But it's already the Holy Week and I don't feel like going to work.
Everyone in the office is burned out. Making those SD's and chasing the targets is definitely taking its toll. The company morale isn't that high and most of the people I've talked to feels that this is turning out to be a chore. Not a good sign. We need to find the fun.
I hope this four and a half days of break will liven things up.

Apple Introduces Boot Camp
The world is coming to an end as the walls of the last empire crumbles. I am referring, of course, to Apple finally enabling Intel-based Macs to run Windows XP. Stupid or strategic, only time will tell. Click here for more.

The Simpson's Movie
10:19 PM
This day isn't starting right. The stupid fucking trunk-anal guard is back and he almost destroyed again Chai's just-repaired trunk.
It didn't stop there. Just as I got to my workstation my phone rang and it was a guy from local 3198 asking if this is "Heaven and Egg". Now what the fuck was that? First, if he wants to get an outside line he should dial "9" first, and second, it's "Heaven and Eggs" -- with a fucking "s".
If this all happened before ten in the morning, I don't want to know how this day will unfold.
