SEO and other shit
I'm getting really impressed with how my search engine optimization measures are doing on my other blog, Bisikleta. Hosted only on Blogger, what I did was played with the site's meta tags and added a lot of appropriate keywords. I also made sure that the article's subject is stated clearly on the title. Of course, I added tags on each of the blog entries. Now, I'm getting the top search results for items pertaining to local cycling, like the recently concluded Ride with Pride race in the La Mesa Nature Reserve.
Of course with SEO comes Google Adwords. Well, I'm not earning a lot as my site traffic is still quite small, but I'm hoping that will change as I add more content and begin posting my URLs to various cycling forum and sites.
Fake Comments
I'm beginning to hate these SEO techniques that they're doing just to be on top of Google's search result list. I'm keeping this other blog and there's this person who commented on my recent post saying how good it was and that he would add me to my blogroll and then Bam! He segued into how it's similar to his entry and posted a link. And so what am I to do but delete it. Bam! Hehehehe!
I'm actually OK with leaving comments on blogs. I actually love reading them. But please make them sincere, right?
